You can add a ‘step to anything as long as it’s got some drums and bass. Stuff like:

Thugstep = Southern Hip Hop + Dubstep

Pornstep = Pornorgraphic sounds + Dubstep

Crunkstep = Crunk + Dubstep (AKA dubhop)
